{"id":34995,"date":"2024-09-10T10:01:41","date_gmt":"2024-09-10T13:01:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/geartips.club\/blog\/gear-tips-conducts-capacitar-program-leave-no-trace-instructor-level-2\/"},"modified":"2024-09-10T10:01:41","modified_gmt":"2024-09-10T13:01:41","slug":"gear-tips-conducts-capacitar-program-leave-no-trace-instructor-level-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/geartips.club\/blog\/en\/gear-tips-conducts-capacitar-program-leave-no-trace-instructor-level-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Gear Tips conducts CAPACITAR Program &#8211; Leave No Trace Instructor Level 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Gear Tips is the only Brazilian company classified as <a href=\"https:\/\/lnt.org\/partnership\/corporate-partnership\/our-corporate-partners\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Corporate Partners - Leave No Trace\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Corporate Partner&#8221; of the Leave No Trace NGO<\/a> in Brazil.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since 2023, through the <a href=\"https:\/\/geartips.com\/programa-capacitar\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Programa CAPACITAR\" rel=\"noopener\">CAPACITAR Program<\/a>, it offers to guides, instructors and outdoor activity leaders, the Leave No Trace Instructor \u2013 Level 1 course, in which students must apply and teach the <a href=\"https:\/\/geartips.club\/blog\/os-7-principios-do-leave-no-trace\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"7 Leave No Trace Principles\" rel=\"noopener\">7 Leave No Trace Principles<\/a> in their own activities, in addition to being able to provide basic training or introductory workshops on minimum impact, always guiding and sensitizing other people to adopt responsible practices in natural environments.<\/p>\n<p>Now, we have brought to Brazil exclusively the <a href=\"https:\/\/geartips.com\/programa-capacitar\/curso-de-leave-no-trace-instructor-level-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Leave No Trace Instructor - Level 2 course\" rel=\"noopener\">Leave No Trace Instructor &#8211; Level 2 course<\/a>, which qualifies people who have already participated in level 1 to train other professionals and, thus, guarantee the outdoor market increased access to qualified professionals. During September 5-8, 13 professionals who work with nature activities from various regions of Brazil such as Chapada Diamantina (Bahia), Rio de Janeiro, S\u00e3o Paulo, Minas Gerais and the South of and its partners decided to subsidize the course. Participants paid only the enrollment fee. In return, instructors are expected to teach five <a href=\"https:\/\/geartips.com\/programa-capacitar\/curso-de-leave-no-trace-instructor-level-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Leave No Trace Instructor - Level 1 courses\" rel=\"noopener\">Leave No Trace Instructor &#8211; Level 1 courses<\/a> in their regions, through the CAPACITAR Program, with all organizational costs supported by Gear Tips. This way, there is the possibility of having 60 classes happening over the next 18 months. This initiative expands the reach of sustainable practices and ensures consistent and qualified training throughout the country,&#8221; explains Pedro Lacaz Amaral.<\/p>\n<h2>Leave no Trace Instructor Level 2 Course<\/h2>\n<p>The five-day course is the most comprehensive offered by Leave No Trace. Participants receive detailed training on Leave No Trace skills and ethics through practical field application. Teaching methods include discussions, scenarios, demonstrations and practical activities.
