To develop its collection for urban cycling, the brand researched urban cyclists in various U.S. cities — including New York, Washington D.C., Austin, San Francisco, and Portland — to determine the most important attributes for a backpack. Product developers incorporated these essential qualities of weather protection, lightness, breathability, easy access, and visibility into the H.A.W.G. Commute 30 and M.U.L.E. Commute 22 backpacks.
