CamelBak Podium Cycling Bottles

The CamelBak Podium bottles were designed to meet the needs of every cyclist, from road biking to mountain biking or gravel. They feature thermal insulation technologies and smart cap nozzles to ensure you keep your water cold longer and stay hydrated effortlessly while riding.

These CamelBak bottles were created for cyclists, but they can also be perfectly used at the gym, on trails, during climbing, bike trips, in the car, or in your daily routine.

The CamelBak Podium Bottles

There are 4 bottles designed to make hydration easier, simplifying handling and drinking during your ride.

All of them share the same features; the differences lie in thermal insulation efficiency and volume. In addition, the Podium Chill Dirt has an extra cover that prevents dust or mud from accumulating on the bottle nozzle.

The different volumes (620 and 710ml) result in bottles with different heights, allowing you to choose which one fits better on your bike frame. This is especially useful on smaller frames like XS and S, or when a frame bag limits available space for bottles.

Common Features of the Podium Line

• Self-sealing valve with automatic flow control – the Jet Valve is a self-sealing valve that allows the bottle to stay open during your ride without leaking or splashing. Just grab the bottle and drink — no need to open it with your teeth first;
• Flow control lock – an open/close lock on the cap allows you to control the water flow, so you can carry the bottle off the bike without risk of leakage;

• Easy to clean – nozzle and valve are fully removable for easier cleaning;
• Thermal insulation – keeps your water cold much longer;
• Optimized size – for a perfect fit in bike bottle cages;
• BPA, BPS, and BPF-free – all CamelBak bottles are completely free from bisphenols, harmful chemicals to your health;
• Trutaste and Hydroguard – water without strange tastes and protection against microorganism buildup inside the bottle.

1. CamelBak Podium 620ml Bottle

This is the most basic model in the Podium line. The Podium 620ml does not feature thermal insulation, making it ideal for shorter rides or cooler days when you don’t need your water to stay cold for long.

2. CamelBak Podium Chill 620ml and 710ml Bottles

The Podium Chill bottles are available in two different volumes: 620 and 710ml. They keep water cold up to twice as long as a regular bottle thanks to their double-wall construction and foam insulation.

3. CamelBak Podium ICE 620ml Bottle

The main difference between the Podium Chill and Podium ICE bottles is the thermal insulation. The Podium ICE features a special insulation made with Aerogel, a material used by NASA as a thermal insulator in various applications.

This Aerogel insulation and double-wall construction allow the Podium ICE to keep water cold up to four times longer than a regular bottle. Due to the space taken up by the Aerogel, this bottle is slightly larger compared to other 620ml models in the Podium line.

4. CamelBak Podium Chill Dirt Series 620ml Bottle

The Podium Chill Dirt Series features the same double-wall and foam insulation as the Podium Chill, but with an extra feature: the “Mud Guard”. A cap that protects the nozzle from mud or dust buildup. This makes the Podium Chill Dirt Series a great choice for mountain biking or gravel riders—after all, no one enjoys drinking a mix of water and dirt.

Although it was designed for MTB use, there’s nothing stopping a road cyclist from using the Podium Chill Dirt Series if they want extra nozzle protection.

Does the thermal insulation really work?
